Position Description

Serco Canada Inc. is a Service System Manager for Employment Services in the Province of Ontario and is dedicated to empowering individuals and businesses through innovative workforce development strategies. As an Employment Services Administrator at Serco, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating the smooth operation of our employment services department. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around heavy administration tasks related to collecting and managing information from workers participating in our employment services program and ensuring seamless coordination of employment-related financial supports for both job seekers and businesses.

In this role, you will:

  • Collect and receive detailed information from workers participating in employment services, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

  • Maintain thorough records of worker activities and progress throughout their engagement with our employment services, including a 12-month post-service period.

  • Review, approve, and reconcile financial supports utilized by job seekers and businesses, adhering to established guidelines and policies.

  • Support various administrative functions across different areas within the employment services department, including data entry, filing, scheduling, and correspondence.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative roles, preferably within the employment services sector.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with database management systems.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Must be able to Pass Criminal Record Check (CPIC).
